Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000026_00033]

Available 9/6/16!

Reprogram of E.R.I.C. initiated. Download complete in 3…2…1…

The sweet, charming Eric that Shay knew is officially gone. He’s been reprogrammed by Dr. Cole and the other scientists aboard the marine research facility that developed Shay. Now, instead of assisting Shay in her grand scheme to save her Optional Human Parent, Darla, from certain death, Eric has been reprogrammed to kill them both. That intimate moment on the beach they shared…lost forever.

Mission complete: Suspect (S.H.A.Y.) captured…

With Eric’s help, Dr. Cole finds Shay and takes her back to the research facility where she will remain until she can be linked to her robotic host and terminated. Shay is placed into the care of a new program called N.I.C. that will analyze her data and keep her safe. Except, if the N.I.C. discovers Shay has already linked, he will initiate her termination immediately, ending any chance Shay has of saving Darla.

It’s only a matter of time…

Either Eric will locate her and finish the mission he’s been programed to fulfill, or the N.I.C. will discover Shay’s secret and finish Eric’s job for him. Eric tracks her back to the facility, and Shay fears it may finally be the end for her and Darla. She can’t bring herself to kill Eric, even if it’s to save her own life. One thing is stronger than even science…

“Experiment 318: Gone Rogue”

Shay is scientific experiment #318. Science may have created her, but she refuses to allow it to blind her to the difference between right and wrong…

Synthetic Hominid Assumed Youth (S.H.A.Y.) is eighteen years old, which means she has completed Phase One: Developmental. Shay no longer requires the assistance of her Optional Human Parent, Darla, who has guided her in the process of discovering her morality. Shay loves her easy, charming life aboard the marine research facility and doesn’t want it to change.

Phase Two: Experimental. All S.H.A.Y. ages 18-20 will experience loss…

Darla shouldn’t have to die because of an experiment. The thought of losing the only parent she’s ever known is too much. Determined to make sure the scientists at the facility don’t get their way, Shay entraps Darla in a transport device to escape across the Miami Border. There, on the mainland, law enforcement will keep her human parent safe.

Escape Mission: Failed…

Shay crashes into one of the Lone Keys off the coast of Florida, abandoned to all humanity, except for the stranger who drags her ashore. Shay must get Darla to safety or she will die of radiation poisoning trapped inside the Freeze Portal, but Shay can’t do it alone.

The boy who found her, an Ersatz Reproduction Intelligence Clone (E.R.I.C.), is her only hope. He has adaptation skills she needs to complete her mission. Eric was created by the same scientists who want to kill Darla, though. She tries to keep their interaction strictly business, but it’s hard to hate him. He’s flirty, charming and not to mention devastatingly handsome.

Shay must put her trust in Eric’s hands if she wants to save Darla from her fate. It may be worth her heart, but will it be worth her life?

S.H.A.Y. argues with the E.R.I.C.

“Well then, I’m not going to get in the water.” I bent over, grabbing my clothes. He helped me, handing me my shirt.

I snatched it from him. “I’ll just wait up here for you to get back.”

He laughed, poking me in the stomach. “Look, creampuff, I’m not going in without you.”

Oh yes you will, or I’ll—”

“You’ll what? Talk to yourself some more?”

I narrowed my eyes at him, stumbling as I tugged my pants on.

“You’re the one who needs my help, remember?”

“You make me sick.” My shirt slipped down over my head and I struggled with the buttons.

He smiled. “Take your clothes off.”

“Don’t tell me what to do.”

Amie groaned. She stood beside me, rolling her eyes. “You’re just creating more and more sexual tension with the E.R.I.C. Soon, you’ll forget all about your Darla and I’ll have no human mother for S.H.A.Y. 319.”

“I won’t!” I unzipped my pants again. “I’ll do whatever it takes to save them both.”

Eric backed away. “Whoa, there, I was just teasing you.”

 “I’m not talking to you.”

He rolled his eyes. “Right, I forgot, you have others here with you.”

“I’m not doing this for you, you’re the enemy. I’m trying to save my, my—”

“You’re trying to save your ‘what’ exactly?”

“It doesn’t concern you. Just follow me into the water. That way, we can get started.”

“Are you hitting on me?” His eyes widened. “I enjoy a little banter and all, but—”

I shoved him. “Like I’d ever flirt with you.”

New Short Stories in the C I N Series Available NOW!!!!

Art: Despair by Lvampar

First, I want to thank all of you who patiently waited while I restructured the entire C I N Series! Took me long, enough, right? ;0)

I love everything about the new books! Well, almost everything…

Unfortunately, while restructuring the novels, I had to eliminate various stories and characters. For a normal person, this wouldn’t be that big of a deal.

I’M NOT NORMAL ;0) !!! I love all my characters and their background stories! So, instead of locking these shorts away, I’ve decided to create a new series that can be followed (in addition to the C I N Series full length novels).

The C I N Series Shorts follows the original characters from the debut novel, C I N (and a few characters you’ve never met–nor will you meet unless you read the shorts), a Puritan Series for the characters in C I N 2: Traitor which you haven’t met yet, and Amie’s Journals. (You’ll find out who Amie is in C I N 2: Traitor on July 15, 2012!)

Hold Me and Love Me by Li Stroeh

The first e-short is Donna Denning. This story will interest anyone who wants to know about Donna’s traitorous beginning. It tells of what really happened at the warehouse–who caused the fire and why.

You’ll get to know a few side characters from the debut novel, C I N. Their significance in book one was so small, you may not even remember them! Big Al, Kurt and Anthony (Brace Face) are pretty much known for their part in creating cash flow for C I N.(I bet you don’t remember! lol!)  In this e-short, you’ll learn more about them.

Donna Denning should raise a few questions about Michael and Donna that you would otherwise never think about (in the novels) and the answers to those questions will only come through future e-shorts.

Throughout all the e-shorts you will witness the character development of Lisa’s parents, Jimmy and Amber in Story 2, entitled: Jimmy & Amber (also available on Amazon), and in story 3, entitled: Pete and Marie, Lisa’s Aunt Millie becomes more than a side character with a secret. (Actually, she’s in all three new e-shorts!), Reggie and even the villainous Frank make an appearance in the new e-shorts.

Sometimes, in the full length novels, things will happen, that without the e-shorts, you’d never know their significance.(And, no, I won’t give away any secrets here.)

;o) Okay, maybe a few hints ;o)

A few examples that you can look for while you read the new e-shorts:

  1. While Ally and Lisa are in the kayak, Ally admits that she doesn’t want a best friend because it hurts to watch them grow old…
  2. At the bonfire, Lisa noticed that Pete and Ally appeared to have a bond.
  3. The events behind the warehouse fire.
  4. Everyone hates Donna, but why?

Art by Loyal O.A.K

One of my favorite characters had to be eliminated. You’ll get your first take of Eric in Story 2: Jimmy & Amber. The first three stories were created in order of years. Donna Denning, the warehouse kids’ beginning–1982; Jimmy & Amber, the year Jimmy made the ultimate sacrifice for love–1990, and of course, Pete and Marie which is set in 1999.

As an added bonus, until the release of C I N 2: Traitor, Donna Denning will include the debut novel C I N! (For those who want a refresher, have never read C I N and/or would like to use it for reference).

ANOTHER BONUS! For your patience, Donna Denning (which includes C I N) will be offered in kindle format by Amazon Digital for FREE starting tomorrow, May 26, 2012 until May 30, 2012!

I hope you like the e-shorts! If these prove to be of interest to you, the reader, then the following reading schedule will go into effect:

The entire C I N collection in suggested reading order:

1.  The C I N Series: Book 1 – “Lynn, Lynn, City of Sin. You Never Come Out the Way You Went In.”

Note: You need to read this story to fully understand any of the short stories. Although    the shorts are not vital to the 7 novels in the series, the novels are imperative to the shorts.

If you have not read the first book, please contact me personally! (via Facebook, Twitter, email, blog…)

2. The C I N Series Shorts: Story 1 – Donna Denning

The story behind Donna’s traitorous beginning…

3. The C I N Series Shorts: Story 2 – Jimmy & Amber

The story of Jimmy and Amber’s beginning…

4.  The C I N Series Shorts: Story 3 – Pete & Marie

Millie loved Pete and Pete loved Millie… So, why’s he with Marie?

“Get Lost”

I’ve never been a liar.

But, when you really love someone how do you throw it all away by telling them the truth?

Alex has been hiding something from Lisa. Rat won’t give her the answers she’s looking for and Ally doesn’t remember

A part of her feels as if maybe he’s made her forget something too. Sometimes she sees this guy Michael and wonders why he’s so familiar. Can Alex erase her memories and control what Rat, the cat, reveals? What is he hiding?

Apex Reviews Official Interview

Official Apex Reviews Interview: Christina Pritchard (CIN)

Thanks for joining us for this interview, Christina. We’re looking forward to sharing more about your book with our readers.

What inspired you to pen this quite engaging tale of the challenges of young adulthood?
I had a dream actually. There were two teenagers (Alex & Ally), a sign that said C I N and lightning in the background. That was it. I was at work scribbling this dream down when Tony, my boss’ father came in and asked me what I was doing. I told him my dream and he automatically starts quoting “Lynn, Lynn, the city of sin. You never come out the way you went in.” This grabbed my interest and as he was telling me about the history of Lynn, my story began piecing itself together!!

How were you able to craft Lisa’s character in such vivid, lifelike fashion?

Well, I based Lisa on myself and youngest sister. We are very similar in personality but completely opposite at the same time. I thought that combining our two personalities would make a rather mixed up character ;o)

Are Alex and Ally meant to be as strange as they seem?

Yes, I thought about letting them gradually become weirder and weirder but, that’s been done so many times and I am a more ‘to the point’ kind of person.

The story gets quite a bit “steamy” in some parts. Were you at all apprehensive about exposing young readers to somewhat “mature” content?

It was much steamier originally. I cut a lot out. Initially, I didn’t plan to leave those scenes in at all, they were practice scenes so that I could learn to put passion and angst into a story – this was a suggestion [adding passion and angst into a novel] from Heather Baror, Literary Agent from Baror International, for another book I’ve written. I took everything she said to heart and decided to leave some of the ‘scenes’ in there especially after reading some of the books she suggested. It was a tough decision for me though.

What kinds of responses have you gotten to the book thus far?

So far, people have said that the book is hard to put down and has great potential for the big screen.  C I N even received an honorable mention in the Teenage Category from the Hollywood Book Festival this month! I’d really love to see this come to life on the big screen.

Also, one person did say I needed to flesh out some of my characters though which I plan to work on.

What’s the main message that you’d like readers to take away from the story?

I really think it is important for young adults to know that there is a place for them in this world. They have to make that place though. No one can do it for you.

What can readers look forward to in future installments of the CIN series?

More details about Pig and Rat, a love triangle they won’t be expecting, more in-depth stories of other characters and some things I can’t tell you yet! ;o)

How can our readers learn more about you and your ongoing efforts?

They can follow me on several sites:

My Official Blog –
Myspace –
Social Network [work in progress] –

How can they contact you directly?

I answer all my emails personally:

Any final thoughts you’d like to share?

I am more interested in having my book read than anything else. So, for a limited time, I am offering my story C I N, free of charge (in PDF format only) to anyone who promises to write am honest review. Details on this deal can be found at: or my blog:

Thanks again, Christina, and best of continued success to you in all your endeavors!

Same to you!!
